Planning - Producing A Storyboard For Your Opening

Creating storyboards for our film opening is really important as we want to make sure our shots and angles will work with the setting and locations we have chosen. After doing some research about creating and planing storyboards we now understand the concept of why we should create storyboards.

When researching the importance of storyboards I had a look at the famous Disney Pixar company and how they plan a production of the film. When planing it is important to:

• Map the characters emotional changes.
• Understand what the story could be like as a final film.
• Convey what it would look like on screen.
• Take the written words/scene and turn it into drawings.
• Pitch the storyboards to other group members.
